Kevin B Lang Memorial Scholarship

Kevin B. Lang was Kenard Lang's older brother. Sadly Kevin passed away in August of 2023. Kevin loved his family and friends, his church and being an educator. He believed education was an extremely important and a necessary tool to succeed.

In an effort to keep his love for education possible for students the Board Members of the Kenard Lang Foundation created the Kevin B Lang Memorial Scholarship.

Please note that the Kevin B. Lang Memorial Scholarship is ONLY for students pursuing a degree in education.

Annual KLF Charity
Golf Tournament

The tournament consists of family, friends and businesses who come together to enjoy playing on a beautiful course. The proceeds from the tournament are used to fund the Annual "Tackle Your Talent" Scholarship Luncheon, provide a donation to the B.A.S.E. Camp Children’s Cancer Foundation and support other youth activities/projects.

Annual
Back-To-School Fair

Our Back To School Fair is made possible through donations from Kenard Lang Foundation Board Members, Target (Winter Garden Village), an NFL Foundation Grant and some of our generous supporters. In previous years, the Professional Athletes Foundation has also provided funding for our "Back-To-School Fair".

The number of students/families served will depend upon the amount of available funds. With the assistance of Orange County Public School (OCPS) Social Workers, many students are equipped with school supplies for the start of the school year.

Annual
Thanksgiving Basket
Give-Aways:

The Kenard Lang Foundation provides baskets/bags of food to several families in the Orlando area. These families are recommended to the Kenard Lang Foundation by local elementary/middle/high school staff members, Community Centers and the community.

It is our hope that with our help these families will be able to provide a great meal for their families during this special holiday season.

Annual Shop With Kenard

The Kenard Lang Foundation along with our partner Target Superstore (Winter Garden Village location) hosts this event each year during the Christmas Holiday season. The local Boys and Girls Clubs, The Pine Hills Branch preselects twenty-five to thirty (25-30) students to participate in this event. Before the students begin shopping, Kenard Lang and/or a Kenard Lang Foundation Board member informs the students of exactly how much money they will have to spend. They are also informed to take into consideration that they must use their math skills in order not to exceed the allocated amount.

The Kenard Lang Foundation wants the students to practice their math by using addition, subtraction and multiplication while shopping for their gifts. The Kenard Lang Foundation also encourages the students to implement the concept of caring and sharing. The students are asked to take into consideration other family members. We remind them that now is a good time to maybe consider purchasing a gift for a family member or a loved one as well. The "Shop With Kenard" Event is funded by an NFL Foundation Grant and generous donations from the community.
